Hello

My name is June Myers!

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, IBCLC, who has worked with families and babies for 18 years.  Through my experience at Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and two area hospitals,  I've gained a keen understanding of the challenges and joys of breastfeeding.  As a mother of three and "Nama" to four, I love supporting families and working to understand the unique needs of each family and baby.

What is a lactation consultant?

A lactation consultant is a professional who specializes in the management of breastfeeding.    We are trained to listen, support and assist families with recommendations to help breastfeeding difficulties such as sore nipples, oral restrictions, managing milk production and much more.

What makes Mom to Mom Lactation Services special?  June Myers, the consultant has spent her life passionately caregiving in both community settings and with family members.  She has a warm, empathetic presence and listens deeply.  June loves to keep abreast of new information to help support mom and baby. To read how one mother describes her experience working with June here.

Mother Holding Baby
June was great! It was so nice that she came to us. She was so kind, and didn’t make it awkward at all. Very professional and yet it felt like we were just meeting with a friend. After her services, breastfeeding my baby was 10x easier! She was very informative and easy to understand. She went above and beyond what she had to do; and checked in on us for days making sure everything was still going smoothly.
